Hi everyone,

We are now accepting applications for Geology Department Scholarships and Undergraduate Research Advances for academic year 2024-2025! You should have received an invitation to the Geology Department Scholarship Canvas Page, where you can view scholarship criteria under "Instructions" and apply by uploading a letter of application.

There are scholarships available for undergraduate and graduate geology students. The awards will be distributed Fall 2024-Spring 2025.

Applications are due by Tuesday, April 30th, at 11:59pm.

Beck, Jr. Research Endowment for Undergraduates: If you will be in your last year of study at the start of fall quarter and you intend to complete Senior Thesis (Geol 490) or independent study (Geol 400) research in paleomagnetism and/or tectonics, we highly encourage you to apply for this research award.
