[Geoldept] 497/597Z - Geoculture and Geoethics - New course for spring quarter not yet on Classfinder

Geofolk,

I wanted to bring your attention to a new course to be offered in spring quarter entitled "Geoculture and Geoethics". This course will be a four-credit, tiered upper-division elective / graduate class designed to introduce you to a variety of perspectives on ethics in geology, as well as authentic engagement in geoscience research. The course will involve multiple international and local guest speakers, with readings drawn heavily from the primary literature. Please see the attached flyer and tentative schedule, as well as the course reading list for more information (course details still subject to change).

The course will be offered Mon/Wed from 2:00-4:00 PM.
