Hi everyone! WAWU, Western's student employee union, is hosting a summer orientation specifically for Geology student employees on Thursday, September 5th from 5:00-5:30 PM in ES 213. This orientation will count as paid time for current student employees in a WAWU covered position, but even if you're not currently working as a student employee in a WAWU covered position (e.g., incoming first years working as Temp Staff), you're welcome to attend. It'll be a great way to learn about the protections afforded by our contract, ask questions, and get involved in the union!
