The AEG Puget Sound Chapter is having their 2nd Annual Career night is tomorrow night, April 8.

This is an online “mixer” for students and AEG professionals in the Puget Sound area to talk about career opportunities and preparing for being a professional engineering or environmental geologist.  Confirmed professional participants are WSP, AES geo, TetraTech, Shannon and Wilson, Aspect/Geosyntec, HWA, WashDOT, and Zipper Geoassociates.

We are hosting this on Spatial Chat which is a very different experience than Zoom and better for one-on-one or group conversations.

You can check this out anytime in advance, though I will be there from 6:30. We’ll start with short corporate presentations at 7:00 followed by discussions in the two breakout rooms.  You can visit reps of an organization by moving your “avatar” to the group’s logo.

There are several rooms.  You enter in the “Welcome” room, where up to 50 people can mingle.  There is also a “Stage Room” where we’ll have the presentations.
