[Geoldept] 4th Annual Geology Bake Off and Dept Celebration! Thursday, May 29, 4pm

We are excited to announce the...



 🎓🧁🎉 Fourth Annual Geology Bake Off and End-of-Year Department Celebration! 🎓🧁🎉



The event will be held on Thursday, May 29th, starting at 4pm on the Communications Lawn (south of the ES building). This is a department-wide picnic-style event, celebrating the end of the year and our summer 2024-summer 2025 graduating students!



Enjoy the bake-off competition, pizza, and lawn games! Gluten free and vegan pizza options will be available. Feel free to bring other food! You are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and lawn chairs, and you are welcome to bring your own lawn games as well.



This event is open to all geology and geophysics undergrads, grads, faculty, staff, partners and families!



4th Annual Geology Bake Off

it's time to dig out your favorite sweet treat recipes! We're looking for your best rocky road cookies, molten lava cakes, and layered sedimentary mousse. And, obviously, we love geology-themed entries! There will be a prize for the winner of the Great Geology Bake Off. 🏆



The rules:

  *   Add the baked good(s) you will be bringing to this Google spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1pzhy3_7gVTZGVfSD6C7vpmyAydOYNCaAWXh4lLA1DkA/edit?usp=sharing
  *   All variations of recipes are welcome - gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free options are absolutely welcome!
  *   All entries must be accompanied by a list of ingredients written on a piece of paper and submitted along with the item.
  *   Drop off your baked goods in ES 240B (Bressler Room) prior to the event or bring them to the Communications Lawn at 3:45 pm.
