Hi All –

Dr. Hannah Shamloo is visiting us from Central Washington University next Tuesday for our invited speaker series

Hannah is an igneous petrologist with an expertise in experimental petrology and diffusion chronometry. She is a collaborating with me, Sue, and a handful of WWU graduate students to better understand recent eruptions at Mt Baker, and has another current project at Goat Rocks, WA. If you’re interested in meeting with Hannah one-on-one or as a small group, she will have some time to meet on Wednesday morning (1/29) between 9:00-11:00am. If there is a 30 min block in that window that you’d like reserve to meet with Hannah please email me back directly (walowski at wwu.edu<mailto:walowski at wwu.edu>).

Additionally, everyone is invited to join us after Hannah’s seminar on Tuesday evening at ~6 pm at Elizabeth Station!
