Please Note: The salary posted above includes the additional 5% premium pay that this position receives due to this position's location in King County.

As a Senior Geologist, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating contaminated site investigation of air, soil, groundwater, surface water and sediments, and cleanup activities in the NWRO's Aquatics Unit. In this role, you will be the sedimentology/stratigraphy specialist for evaluating Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study (RI/FS) work plans and reports.  Additionally, you will develop cleanup standards, select remedies, and design compliance monitoring plans.

The mission of the Toxics Cleanup Program (TCP) is to protect Washington's human health and the environment by preventing and cleaning up pollution and supporting sustainable communities and natural resources for the benefit of future and current generations.

Tele-work options for this position: This position will be eligible for up to a 90% tele-work schedule.
