Hello!

We are hiring a tenure-track geology instructor to start in Fall 2023. If you have any WWU graduates (or others!) who are interested, a master's degree is the minimum qualification and the application target date is Feb 26.

As you may know, Highline has a vibrant geology program with lots of different classes<https://nam11.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fcatalog.highline.edu%2Fsearch_advanced.php%3Fcur_cat_oid%3D27%26ecpage%3D1%26cpage%3D1%26ppage%3D1%26pcpage%3D1%26spage%3D1%26tpage%3D1%26search_database%3DSearch%26filter%255Bkeyword%255D%3DGEO%26filter%255Bexact_match%255D%3D1%26filter%255B3%255D%3D1%26filter%255B31%255D%3D1&data=05%7C01%7Ccaplanj%40wwu.edu%7C2c2ff8a2569f48a17e1d08db0abdc138%7Cdc46140ce26f43efb0ae00f257f478ff%7C0%7C0%7C638115582334047027%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C7000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=WyKch7xcGKelgPe6549rbg7ZayESWVwZ2rDeb6xmTXo%3D&reserved=0>, including field classes. We have been well-supported by the National Science Foundation, collaborate with the terrific marine sciences program, and are seen as leaders in science education on campus and around the country. At the same time, this is an opportunity for someone to shape the program for the future (and send more folks to your program!).

Please let me know if you have any questions or if there is anyone else I should send this to.

Thanks for helping me get the word out!

-Eric
