Job Description

MATERIALS TESTING & CONSULTING, INC. "MTC" is actively seeking an individual to fill a Construction-Materials Laboratory Technician position in our NW Region laboratory.

This position includes a multitude of testing procedures performed on a variety of materials in a busy construction materials testing lab and may include material sampling as well. The ideal candidate will be organized and possess critical judgment and decision-making skills. They will have excellent verbal and written communication skills; they will be self-disciplined and highly motivated with the ability to work independently and cohesively in a team. Familiarity with the Washington Association of Building Officials (WABO), A2LA, ASTM's, and other construction material testing standards is a plus, but not mandatory. The candidate must be a safety-conscious team player, have the ability to regularly lift 50 - 75#, and be technology-friendly.
