Hello Mapping Community,
We have two openings at the Maine Geological Survey (MGS) that will close on January 31, 2023.
The Hydrogeologist will conduct surficial geology mapping through the STATEMAP program and oversee our snow pack survey/mapping program. A Maine P.G. license must be obtained within one year of hire date. The Marine Geologist will work on projects related to coastal erosion and monitoring. Excellent GIS skills and field work experience are desired for both positions.
