The Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology (NBMG) at the University of Nevada, Reno, seeks applicants for a research faculty position focused on geologic mapping and field-oriented research in Nevada. Primary responsibilities include research focused on the geologic framework and tectonic evolution of Nevada, utilizing innovative approaches to detailed geologic mapping, sedimentologic analysis, structural analysis, geochronology, and/or paleomagnetism. The position will be a non-tenure-track faculty appointment based on the UNR campus in Reno, Nevada.
