[Geoldept] first geology/SCED candidate here - Heidi Roop

Students — Dr. Heidi Roop, our first job candidate, is in the Bressler Room ready
and willing to meet with students (9-10 am today).  Dr. Roop is a paleoclimatologist.

Her talk later today is entitled:   Mud, Water & Wood: Using annually-resolved climate records to reconstruct Southern Hemisphere atmospheric circulation

Please come meet her and help her feel welcome. There is an evaluation sheet for your comments -
we want your input!

Her teaching talk is at 9 am tomorrow morning (Tuesday) in ES213.  A mock geology 211 lecture on Earth Structure.
