Washington State Opportunity Scholarship - Application Now Open!

Apply Online by February 29, 2016

We are excited to announce that the online application for the 2016-2017 Washington State Opportunity Scholarship (WSOS) is now available on our website!

We will select nearly 1450 new students to receive funding, professional development support and industry exploration opportunities. We need your help in encouraging any eligible students you know to apply!

A Few Scholarship Details

The Washington State Opportunity Scholarship (WSOS) supports low- and middle-income students pursuing eligible high-demand majors in science, technology, engineering, math (STEM) or health care and encourages recipients to work in Washington state once they complete their degrees. Students must meet additional eligibility criteria.

  *   Annual award amount: $2,500 - $7,500 depending on class standing
  *   Renewable for up to five years based on credits completed and continued eligibility
  *   Selected students receive access to workshops, events and additional support during their time in college.

The application for 2016-17 must be submitted online by February 29, 2016, and students' transcripts must be postmarked by March 7, 2016.
