Subject: Alaska Geologic Society scholarship application reminder

To all who may have students working on projects in Alaska,

Happy New Year!
It is the time of year for submitting scholarship applications to the Alaska Geological Society. Two scholarships are offered and any student may apply for both in the same year.  The AGS scholarship awards vary in size up to $2500, and projects of appropriate topics may qualify for matching awards from our affiliate society, AAPG Pacific Section. The Richter Memorial Scholarship award is $2000.
All applications and supporting materials are due February 1, 2016.  Awards will be announced no later than March 20, 2016.

There are no application forms to fill out:  application materials required (see attached) are due by midnight on February 1, 2016 and should be submitted to me by email, but hard copies may also be mailed to:
