[Geoldept] AEG Dinner Meeting - 11/16 & AEG Fundraiser Opportunity

Good evening,

Next Thursday, AEG will be hosting a joint dinner meeting with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), which will be highlighted by a presentation on Conditions Assessment of a Dam, Tunnel, and Power Station at a Hydropower Project in Nepal to be given by Mike Bruen of Stantec. This meeting will take place at the Best Western Executive Inn in downtown Seattle next Thursday, 11/16, but you will need to buy a ticket to the dinner before this Friday, 11/10 @ 3pm.

Last, I have sent out a request through GroupRaise to do a fundraising meal for AEG through Goat Mountain Pizza. I have to wait for a confirmation, but I will send out an announcement if I hear the good word. Planned for Tuesday after Thanksgiving. A certain percentage of sales from club members that attend goes straight back to us just for eating delicious pizza - yes please.
