Join Women in Geology for this year's Mix IT UP!



Mix IT UP: Movers and Shakers in STEM



November 14th 2017, 4:30-7:30 in the VU MPR



This inclusive and unique event is geared towards all students on the Western Campus - particularly people from underrepresented groups in all branches of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).  The goal of our event is to foster inclusion in STEM on a multitude of levels and to change the stereotypical view of what "makes" a scientist, engineer or mathematician.



This year we are showcasing science that is changing the world, engaging the public or science that is being done in a new way.



This year we will have expert panelists who work with Space Policy, infectious disease, citizen science on mountain tops and virtual reality for hospital bound children.



Features of the event include: Expert Panel, Raffle Prizes, Photo booth, Free Food and Networking!
