Please come and meet Dr. Vinicius T. Meira, University of Campinas, Brazil before the talk Tuesday at 3:30 in the ES Foyer (lounge/study area 1st floor). There will be tea, coffee and cookies available. Please join us after the meet and greet for his talk that will begin at 4pm Tuesday in CF 115.

Dr. Vinicius Miera will present a talk titled "Contrasting orogenic belts in Brazil: current and future research projects"  The  talk includes a geologic overview of Neoproterozoic orogens in Brazil that show evidence for high and ultrahigh-temperature metamorphism, as well as, ongoing work to study the tectonic evolution of these orogens.
