Hi everyone,

Here are a couple more scholarship opportunities through CSE! Please see the application forms and instructions attached.


  1.  Oscar Edwin Olson Scholarship - Due April 30th

-For an undergraduate student majoring in a CSE program

-Based on overall academic merit and must be children of single, divorced or widowed parents (adoptive or biological)

     *   Eligible students are those who at any time in their first 18 years either:

                                                               i.      Lived with one unmarried parent

                                                             ii.      Had divorced parents

                                                           iii.      Had one or more deceased parents

-Must demonstrate financial need through a FAFSA or WAFSA document

-Students awarded the Olson Scholarship the previous academic year can receive it for a second year, but no more than 2 years



  1.  Marion Van Nostrand Scholarship - Rolling Deadline

-For single, custodial parents with a dependent child

-Majoring in a STEM field*

-Must demonstrate financial need through a FAFSA or WAFSA document

-Must be in good academic standing and making progress towards their degree with a minimum GPA of 2.0

-Students awarded the Van Nostrand Scholarship can receive the award for the reminder of their academic career if they continue to meet the requirements
+Covers in-state tuition and fees plus $1,000
*Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering (ABET accredited programs only), Environmental Science, Geology, Mathematics, Physics/Astronomy, and CSE Science Education
