Geo-students,

Most of you know that the university has been switching from ArcMap to ArcPro over the past few years.  For any of you who still want to keep using ArcMap in 2022, you will need to get and install an access code before January 1!  (see note below from Stefan Freelan, keeper of the codes)

Hi All,

This is mostly directed at the Geology Dept, but FYI to everyone.

Per earlier announcements, ESRI is discontinuing the student versions of ArcMap. They no longer supply codes, but I still have a few dozen. These codes, IF INSTALLED BEFORE JANUARY 1, 2022, are good for one full year.

After Jan. 1st, they codes will no longer be valid (no more student versions of ArcMap available).

So... if there are any students out there who want to use ArcMap, this is their LAST CHANCE to download, install, and authorize the software.

Again, as of 2022 the codes that I have become worthless. ArcMap software installed AND ACTIVATED before the end of the month will work for one full year. Beginning January 1st, the only option we have for student software is ArcGIS Pro.

Have students wanting to install ArcMap contact me ASAP.
