"Communicating Science through Visual Media...Students get 6 weeks to make a short film (max 5min) about a scientific event, person, or topic. ENROLL IN PHYS 297/COMM 297
Virtual summer 6-week session - 3 Credits
TWR 1pm-2:50pm
Each student will create a 3 min video featuring an event, discovery, or process in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). The course concludes with a mini-film festival to showcase student work.
The course will guide students through the process of pre-production (storyboarding or scriptwriting), production (shooting video), and post-production (editing & distribution). Select projects will be published by WWU through sparksciencenow.com or other media outlets.
