[Geoldept] Summer Field Camp 2023 next Meeting

Hello GeoStudents,

If you are interested in attending our Summer 2023 Field Camp courses, I encourage you to attend our 2nd organizational meeting that will be on Friday, March 31, 12:00-1:00 PM, in ES 213.

At the meeting we will go over the logistics and plans in more detail.

As a reminder, the course will run from June 21 until July 28, with June 21-July 24 being out in the field, and the final week (June 25-28) back here in Bellingham on campus.

Among the logistical items- we have made arrangements with the WWU summer session people to provide dorm space in Birnham Woods- these will be set up for 4 students in each suite, which will have a kitchen, and be available from July 24-28. (the final week, where we will be working on final projects in class on campus). So, at the meeting we will be asking you to indicate whether you will want accommodations in these rooms, or not, so we can finalize those reservations.

If you attended the first meeting, or contacted us to express interest in the Summer Field Camp course, you should all have received the hold harmless and medical forms from Hye In- so we'll check on that process too. If you have questions, or did not get a form, please let me know.

Otherwise, have a nice Spring Break, and see you in a couple of weeks
