[Geoldept] Pre-fall Geo 318

To the students who may be thinking about pre-fall Geology 318:

We have copies of the information you might need to know in the office.  This course is an OV only course pre-fall field experience class Sept 2 - 21...what a fun way to learn Structural Geology!  There will be a pre-trip meeting June 5th, 5pm ES 213 when Liz gets back from field camp. If you have any questions please e-mail Liz Schermer schermer at geol.wwu.edu<mailto:schermer at geol.wwu.edu> for more specifics.

This course is a FALL registration course that requires an Override.  The OV will not be given until Liz gives me a final list of students which will likely be in June.  I suggest to those planning on taking this course to make sure when you register for FALL QTR that you remember that this course counts as 5 credits toward FALL QTR.  I caution you - If you go over the 18 credit limit you WILL be charged a FEE for the extra credits over 18. If you are intending to go over the 18 credit limit that is entirely up to you and your financial status.  However, Financial Aid students should check with the Financial Aid office to see what your options are.
